idk why im feeling blue...

PS my phone's headphone jack is broken. when i listen to music, it only plays the low and high range of the song only, no middle... lol... so it'll be $32 to send it off and get it fixed.... thanks world

hair, food and hair

Drew's hair, which I LOVED doing. Here was the inspiration: Christian highschool football jock, taking off his helmet right after a game. So it had to meet the preppy standards of the Christian school, yet be young, sporty and sexy. We cut the sides fairly tight, and let his curls go free on top. Then just put some gel on the curls ontop while still wet to help the curls hold a thick form, then put paste on the sides to kinda hold em down....

the current condition of my hair.... idk (i dont know) how i like it... its a work in progress. im rdy for something asymmetrical. so its flat and kinda spikey toward the face on the left, my hawk leans toward then right and the right side of my head is all spikes and messy... i need to throw some color in there, but idk how. of course blond... all over highlights? chunks? half the head?

any ideas? remember, i love punky and crazy.... im a hairstylist!!! i can get away with it ^_^

sherri's hair!!!! i love it!
we put somemore of her natural color back in as well as a few highlights to give her some dimension. then we stacked the back of her hair cause it was really weighty, and did a lil trimming around her face. she has GREAT hair to work with!!!

i went to trumans tonight for dinner. and this poor lady had the worst hair ever. it was a mullett, that was braided, and the hair on top was SUPER short and obisouly been pulled through a highlighting cap.


like seriously... braid this and bad highlights....

then i looked over and ALL the women there had bad hair. it was like an aweful 80's flashback... i mean aweful... i shoulda gone over and given them my card, but how do you do that w/o sounding like, 'hi, your hair is awful, come see me."

job shadow

yesterday i had someone job shadow me and im kicking myself in the but for not taking pics... i even remembered saying to myself... you have to take pics.... but heres a pic of her from her myspace page...

her name is tatiana. she goes to jeff junior. she's 15. when she turns 16 she'll move to odessa, tx to live with her mom. shes lives in a group home here in como.

i wanted to color her hair for her, but we ran out of time. so i just straightened it and gave her some "hairstylist" body ^_^ you know us, the bigger the better right?!

urgent care

Well I'm chillin in urgent care. I think I have strep. :( And my regular doctor is off today. I went to bed at midnight, woke up at 3. Played games and watched youtube videos till 6. Then I laid on the futton with Kelly. Joel came down and layed with me and I fell right asleep.

new goods

well my gym bag was stolen the other day, right of my jeep. All I lost was my gym bag, shoes, my workout outfit (and my good shirt, cry), and hair gel, LOL. So I went out and bought new shoes from Starting Block. It was fun. They video taped my feet as I ran and found a really nice pair of shoes for me. I guess I run inverted and have a high arch, so they hooked me up with a shoe that helps me run flat footed and supports my arch.

Then I went to The Alpine Shop. And got an awesome gym bag. Its from the site www.timbuk2.com You can customize your bag, but I got the premade Underground Day Bag. It'll fit my shoes, workout cloths AND laptop. Score!!!

dream

I had a dream last night that a lot of people were reading/viewing my blog and said how depressed they had become from seeing it.... O.O My life isn't THAT bad?! Actually things have been on the up and up.

Things to look forward to this year:
1) more fun clients to do hair
2) explore the world of xbox and more adult games (I just LOVE mario)
3) being a healer
4) adding 100 points to my nerd factor by learning D&D
5) read more
6) grow muscles and get in the best shape of my life
7) finish army
8) possibly write my basic training book from my journal I kept
9) trip to new york
10) living in a loft downtown

Wow, that's a hefty list. Better get on it.....

thought

well I'm at drill. Pretty bored. Really bored. Trying to be low key but people are talking to me about the most random crap that I dont care about: working in the prison, what unit they're from, what they did for new years, what color their dogs poop is. >_< ugh... save me. I've been avoiding my platoon leader at all costs. We just dont see eye to eye on anything. Oh well...

So here are things that've been on my mind:
